FIRE SPRINKLER DIVISION
Sprinkler Foreman
- Automatic Fire Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter / Foreman to join our growing team. This position is responsible for leading field crews in the installation, modification, testing, and repair of commercial and industrial fire sprinkler systems while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with NFPA standards, local codes, and company quality expectations.
- The ideal candidate will have experience reading and interpreting construction drawings, coordinating with project managers and other trades, managing manpower and materials, and maintaining project schedules. Responsibilities include overseeing daily jobsite activities, ensuring work is installed correctly, conducting quality control inspections, and mentoring apprentice fitters.
- Qualified applicants should possess strong leadership and communication skills, a commitment to safety, and a proven background in fire sprinkler installation. NICET certification, OSHA training, and experience with wet, dry, pre-action, and special hazard systems are preferred but not required.

Sprinkler Helper
- Automatic Fire Systems, Inc. is seeking a motivated Fire Sprinkler Helper to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in the fire protection industry. The Sprinkler Helper assists experienced fitters and foremen with the installation, modification, testing, and repair of commercial and industrial fire sprinkler systems.
- Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, assembling and hanging pipe, installing sprinkler heads and system components, operating hand and power tools, maintaining a clean and safe jobsite, and assisting with inspections and testing activities. The ideal candidate is dependable, willing to learn, and able to work effectively as part of a team in both indoor and outdoor construction environments.
- No prior fire sprinkler experience is required, although construction, mechanical, or trade-related experience is a plus. Candidates should have a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

FIRE ALARM DIVISION
Fire Alarm Helper
- Assist in the installation of fire alarm devices, including smoke detectors, heat detectors, pull stations, and audible/visual alarms.
- Pull and route wiring through conduit, ceilings, and walls.
- Mount and secure control panels and other system components.
- Assist with the connection of wiring to devices and panels.
- Label and organize wiring and components.
- Assist in performing routine inspections and testing of fire alarm systems.
- Assist in troubleshooting and repairing system malfunctions.
- Assist in replacing defective components.
- Assist in performing preventative maintenance tasks.
- Assist in performing system testing, and documentation.
